GENERAL INFORMATION

Power shaft with the hinge of equal angular speeds

1–lock ring. Surely replace.
2–sealing laying. Surely replace. Remove a protective film and paste to the hinge.
3–internal hinge of equal angular speeds, 100 mm
4–spring tarelchaty. On internal diameter has teeths. Big diameter adjoins to the hinge.
5–protective cover. For the hinge of equal angular speeds of 100 mm. A cover inside grease with AUDI "D3" hermetic.
6–shaft. For the hinge of equal angular speeds of 100 mm.
7–collar. Surely replace.
8–protective cover. For the hinge of equal angular speeds of 90 mm.
9–collar
10-spring tarelchaty. Big diameter (the concave party) adjoins to a persistent ring.
11-persistent ring
12-lock ring
13-hinge of external, 90 mm.
14–hinge of internal, 94 mm.

5–collar. Surely replace.
6–protective cover. For the hinge Zh of 90 mm. Before installation a small collar of a protective cover raise and fill a cover with air.
7–collar
8–shaft left. With the internal Tripode hinge. In the presence of damages it is necessary to replace the internal hinge and a shaft.
9–the screw with an internal teeth, 45 N • m
10-hinge right. With the Tripode hinge. In the presence of damages it is necessary to replace the internal hinge and a shaft.


ATTENTION

After an otvorachivaniye of a dvenadtsatigranny nut (an axis nut) by which the power shaft is fixed to a nave, it is not necessary to put the car with a full load on wheels and to shift it. In the absence of axial a podzhatiya the bearing of a wheel can be damaged. If necessary instead of a power shaft establish the external hinge and fix it the moment of 50 N • m.


REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a decorative cap of a wheel, at wheels from light metal remove caps demountable hooks from a set of the onboard tool.
2. Weaken a dvenadtsatigranny nut of a nave of a wheel at a drive shaft, without turning on it.
ATTENTION

At an otvorachivaniye of a nut of fastening of a shaft of a drive the car should stand whenever possible wheels on the earth. If the car is lifted, put a key so that the effort at an otvorachivaniye operated vertically down. Otherwise the car can slide off sideways supports. Big moment of an otvorachivaniye. Danger of accident!


3. Mark paint the provision of the corresponding forward wheel concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly an otbalansirovanny wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel on the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove a forward wheel.

ATTENTION

Operation of lifting and car installation on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation familiarize with car Poddomkrachivaniye's subsection.


4. Mark a felt-tip pen the provision of bolts-1-spherical support or lead round them a chertilka. Otherwise at the subsequent installation it will be necessary to carry out measurement and adjustment of a forward suspension bracket. Turn out bolts-1-.
5. If the drive shaft manually is not taken out from a nave, remove a shaft by means of a stripper. HUNDRED AUDIS apply for this purpose AUDI-3283 stripper.

ATTENTION

Let's to a shaft hang, differently the internal hinge can be damaged as a result of an excess.


6. Turn out screws with an internal polyhedron for a drive shaft on a transmission flange. The insert under an internal polyhedron, for example, HAZET 990 Lg-8 is for this purpose necessary.
7. Cars with RKPP: Incline an amortization rack outside and take out a drive shaft from the case of the bearing of a wheel.
Cars with AT:
8. Unscrew fastening bolts (arrows on an illustration) AT support to a unit beam.
9. Insert mount between a beam of the unit and the block of cylinders and take away the block in the movement direction. At the same time, the Tripode hinge of a shaft of a drive can be taken out.
INSTALLATION
10. Clear a brush teeths and a carving of a shaft of a drive and a nave of a rust and other pollution.
11. Fix a shaft on a check point. Tighten screws with an internal polyhedron cross-wise. Moment of an inhaling of a check point (hinge of equal angular speeds): 40 N of m; AT (Tripode hinge): 45 N of m.
12. Grease an adjacent surface of a dvenadtsatigranny nut and teeths of the external hinge with pure impellent oil. Enter the external hinge into nave teeths as far as it is possible.
13. Fix the sharovy hinge on the lever. Establish fastening bolts in oval openings so that earlier put markings coincided. Tighten bolts the moment of 20 N of m then tighten a rigid key on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns).
ATTENTION

At installation in the new lever establish fastening bolts in average situation and tighten. In summary measure disorder, address to subsection Corners of installation of forward wheels.


14. Establish the internal hinge of a shaft of a drive and tighten screws with an internal polyhedron.

Inhaling moments:

М8 40 N of m
М10 80 N of m
15. Cars with AT: Tighten bolts of fastening of a support of a check point to a unit beam the moment of 25 N of m.
16. Enter the external hinge against the stop into the wheel bearing.
17. Tighten a dvenadtsatigranny nut the moment of 300 N of m and then again unscrew it on Ѕ a turn.
18. Tighten a dvenadtsatigranny nut the moment of 50 N • m, then tighten a rigid key on 45 ° (1/4 turns).
ATTENTION

The angular washer of HAZET 6690 is necessary for an inhaling on a certain corner. If such washer available is not present, the dvenadtsatigranny nut can be tightened as follows.


19. Lower the car so that wheels concerned the earth.
20. Tighten a dvenadtsatigranny nut the moment of 300 N of m and again unscrew it on Ѕ a turn.
21. Tighten a dvenadtsatigranny nut the moment of 50 N of m.
22. Mark one side of a nut (an arrow A on an illustration). The second marking (arrow B) put on a nave edge through the following edge. Instruction: The distance from one side to another makes 45 °.
23. Tighten a dvenadtsatigranny nut a key so that both markings coincided.
