Removal and installation of a gear belt

GENERAL INFORMATION

ATTENTION

Operations and the corresponding instructions relating to all engines, are given in the subsection Removal, installation and a tension of a gear belt. In the real subsection the differences relating to the TDI engine of 1.9 l are described only.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew a tension roller of a maple belt at the holder.
2. Remove the vacuum pump of the amplifier of a brake.
3. Establish the engine crankshaft in position VMT of the piston of the first cylinder (subsection Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in VMT). In this situation it is possible to insert an adjusting ruler into a crack of a camshaft 3418. The ruler interferes with possibility of a provorachivaniye of a camshaft. If it is necessary, the ruler can be made most.
4. Installation of an adjusting ruler parallel to a head of cylinders: For this purpose turn a cranked shaft so that the end of a ruler adjoined a head of cylinders. On other end of a ruler shchupy measure the formed gap. Insert щуп in the thickness, an equal half turned out between a ruler and a head of cylinders. Now turn the engine so that the ruler laid down on щуп. Insert the second щуп the same size on other end between a ruler and a head of cylinders.
5. In an opening at a coupling casing the label of VMT of a flywheel and a base label opposite are two of a kind.
6. Fix TNVD pulley AUDI–3359 core. Instead of the specified core another can be applied suitable, for example, a drill. Turn out one by one fastening bolts (arrows on an accompanying illustration) and replace with new bolts. Tighten bolts the moment of 20 N of m.

ATTENTION

The central bolt on TNVD do not turn on, since it can break pump adjustment. Independent carrying out adjustment of TNVD is inconvenient.


7. To Zastropta the engine also unscrew the right support of the engine and a damper of fluctuations, address to the subsection Removal, installation and a tension of a gear belt.
8. Remove a gear belt.
9. Unscrew on Ѕ a turn a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel of a camshaft at the removed gear belt.

ATTENTION

At an otvorachivaniye of a wheel hold a camshaft a wrench for лыски. It is not necessary to use an adjusting ruler as means for deduction.


10. Unscrew cogwheel fastening. Remove a camshaft cogwheel from a cone in hammer blows on a drift through an opening in a back protective cover of a gear belt.
11. Put on a gear belt. At installation of the belt which was in work keep behind the direction of its rotation. Put at removal of a belt of the shooter specifies in the direction of rotation of the engine, i.e. in the direction of an hour hand. Put on a belt in sequence: the pulley of a cranked shaft rejecting a roller, the pump of cooling liquid, a pulley of TNVD and a tension roller.
12. A pulley of a camshaft put together with a belt on a camshaft and fix by hand a bolt. The pulley of a camshaft should rotate on a shaft.
13. Take out a clamp of a pulley of TNVD.
14. Turn a tension roller the tool, for example, HAZET 2587 to the right so that coincided a label on a tension roller and a ledge.
15. Tighten a tightening nut on a tension roller the moment of 20 N of m.
16. Once again check, whether coincide VMT marking on a flywheel and base marking.
17. Fix a camshaft pulley the moment of 45 N of m, holding thus a shaft from a provorachivaniye a key.
18. Clean on distributive to a shaft an adjusting ruler.
19. Take out AUDI–3359 core at TNVD pulley.
20. Turn a cranked shaft on two turns and again stop in position VMT of the first cylinder.
21. Check, whether TNVD pulley is fixed by AUDI-3359 core. If the core is not inserted, unscrew bolts of fastening of a pulley of TNVD and turn a nave so that the core entered.
22. Fix the holder of the engine at the block of cylinders the moment of 45 N of m.
23. Tighten engine support.

ATTENTION

Bolts in the course of an inhaling receive residual deformation. Therefore after each inhaling they should be replaced. Fix the holder of the engine at a support the moment of 60 N of m and then tighten a rigid key on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns). Fix engine support to a body the moment of 40 N of m and then tighten a rigid key on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns).


24. Establish on the places a protective casing of a gear belt, a damper of fluctuations. tension roller of a maple belt and cover of a head of cylinders.
25. Establish maple a belt, address to the subsection Removal and installation of a maple belt.
26. Check the beginning of injection of TNVD (work HUNDRED).

ATTENTION

After adjustment of the beginning of injection of fuel it is necessary to tighten the moment of 20 N of m bolts of fastening of a pulley of TNVD and then to tighten them a rigid key on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns). After an inhaling of bolts it is necessary to replace them with the specified way on new after each otvorachivaniye.
