Check of the relay of the fuel pump

GENERAL INFORMATION

The relay of the fuel pump is in a relay payment, a place 4, on the party of the driver under the dashboard block. It is necessary for checking, if the pump does not work.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Take out a safety lock No. 28 of the fuel pump.
2. Attach a diode control lamp by means of an auxiliary wire between weight and one of two contacts of a safety lock of the fuel pump.
3. Remove the top facing around feet of the driver, at the left, thus address to the subsection Removal and pocket installation from the driver.
4. Include a starter. Turning on of the relay of the fuel pump should be audible. The diode control lamp Besides, should light up.
5. If the relay does not turn on, check supply voltage and management.
6. If diode a control lamp does not light up, though the relay turns on, repeat check on other contact of a safety lock.
7. If the diode control lamp again does not burn, check a wire between contact 23 at the relay, a place 4, and a safety lock of the fuel pump. In the presence of break eliminate it.
8. If a relay food, management and relay wires as it should be, replace the relay of the fuel pump.
Food check
	Take out the relay of the fuel pump from a relay payment (a relay No. 4 place).
Include ignition.
Consistently attach the voltmeter: – between contact 19 (plus of the lock of ignition) and weight; – between contact 17 (plus of the storage battery) and weight. Demanded value: 12 In (tension of the battery). Otherwise check wire break on an electric circuit and eliminate.
Switch off ignition.

MANAGEMENT CHECK

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Attach a diode control lamp with an auxiliary wire between contact 16 (mass of management from a monitor the engine) and contact 17 (plus) of a socle of the relay.
2. Include a starter. Thus the light-emitting diode should light up. Otherwise find wire break to a monitor injection and eliminate it or replace a monitor (work HUNDRED).
ATTENTION Diode control lamps have small consumption of a current. If the starter is not included, they have a weak luminescence and completely do not die away.
3. Insert a safety lock of the fuel pump.
4. Establish a pocket around an arrangement of feet, thus address to the subsection Removal and pocket installation from the driver.
