| 1. Mark paint the provision of back wheels concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly an otbalansirovanny wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel on the car standing on the earth. Lift the car, put it on supports and remove back wheels. |
| 2. Release a cable of the parking brake. Remove sideways a clip – 1–. Press the lever at a support in the direction of an arrow and disconnect a brake cable – 3–. |
| 3. Disconnect a support above and below. Thus hold directing finger a wrench. Remove the case, the brake hose remains attached. |
| 4. Remove a support and adhere it a wire to a body. The brake hose should not be tense. |
| 5. Take out from directing brake shoes and clamps. |
INSTALLATION
ATTENTION Do not press a brake pedal at the removed blocks. Otherwise the piston will be squeezed out from the case. In this case remove a support in a set and insert it into place in conditions HUNDRED.

6. Clear directing surfaces and places of landing of blocks in mine a rag and alcohol. Do not apply for this purpose the solvents containing mineral oils or the tool with sharp edges.
ATTENTION
To cleaning of a brake apply only alcohol.

| 7. Before installation of blocks check a brake disk, having felt it fingers. At existence задиров brake disks are subject to replacement. |
| 8. Measure thickness of a disk, if necessary worn-out disks replace, thus address to subsection Check of thickness of a brake disk. |
| 9. Check existence of cracks on a piston boot. In the presence of damages a boot at once replace, as the got dirt quickly leads to loss of tightness of a support. The support for this purpose should understand (work HUNDRED). |
| 10. Screw the piston, rotating it to the right side (clockwise) a special key of AUDI – 3272, putting for this purpose considerable effort. The fillet (an arrow at the left) the tool should adjoin to a support. At a heavy piston stroke rotate a wrench of 13 mm for лыски (And) the tool. |
ATTENTION The piston of a brake cannot be rotated by means of the adaptation for return of the piston or the hammer handle, otherwise it is possible to damage the mechanism of installation of the parking brake.
It is possible to apply also the HAZET 4970/3 tool.

11. If the special tool available is not present, make the corresponding steel plate and insert it into both grooves of the piston of a brake. Strong movement rotate the piston.
ATTENTION At rotation of the piston brake liquid from the brake cylinder in the tank is squeezed out. Watch liquid level in the tank, if necessary remove surpluses.
To an otsasyvaniye of brake liquid apply a plastic bottle which intends only for this purpose. Do not apply for this purpose a bottle to drinking liquid! Brake liquid is poisonous. By no means it is impossible to suck away it a mouth through a hose. Apply to this purpose a siphon. After replacement of brake shoes liquid level in a tank should not exceed a mark of MAX in a tank since when heating brake liquid extends. Following liquid flows down on the brake cylinder, destroying a covering and leading to corrosion.

| 12. Insert in directing a new clamp. |
| 13. Insert in directing brake shoes. From new brake shoes remove a protective film on a return plate. |
14. Establish a support and tighten the moment of 30 N • m new bolts of fastening.
ATTENTION In a repair kit there are four being self-stopped a bolt which it is necessary to establish surely.

| 15. Press the lever – 2–at a support in the direction of an arrow and connect a cable – 3–parking brakes. Insert a clip – 1–sideways at a support. |
16. Adjust the parking brake, thus address to subsection Adjustment of the parking brake.
ATTENTION
The pedal of a brake can be pressed only after adjustment of the parking brake.

17. Establish back wheels so that the markings put at removal, coincided. Wrap bolts of fastening of a wheel. Lower the car on wheels and wrap bolts of fastening of wheels a cross – crosswise the moment of 120 N • m.
ATTENTION
Several times strongly press a brake pedal so that distinct resistance of a pedal was felt. Thus, blocks will lie down to a brake disk and will take the place.

18. Check level of brake liquid in the tank. If necessary add to MAX mark.
ATTENTION
inspect reliability:
– Whether fastenings of brake hoses are reliably tightened?
– Whether the brake hose in the holder is fixed?
– Whether unions of removal of air are tightened?
– Whether it is enough in the tank of brake liquid?
– At the working engine check tightness of system. For this purpose press a brake pedal effort of 200-300 N (20-30 kg) during 10 pages. The pedal should not depart. Check on tightness all connections

19. Carefully let's be earned extra to new brake shoes. For this purpose several times brake the car since speed 80 to 40 km/h slightly pressing a pedal. Between braking let's be cooled to a brake.
ATTENTION In a number of regions brake shoes should be utilized as a special material. Local authorities should inform drivers on places of the allowed utilization.
