Adjustment of the parking brake

GENERAL INFORMATION

ATTENTION

Owing to automatic installation of brakes of back wheels adjustment of the parking brake is not required. Adjustment of the parking brake is required only at replacement of its cable, back supports / directing.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Strongly press a brake pedal. On a pedal strong resistance should be felt.
2. Release the parking brake.
	3. Remove an ashtray in a back part of the central console. The adjusting nut (an arrow on an illustration) is on the brake lever.
ATTENTION If it is necessary to replace cables of the parking brake, remove facing from the lever of a brake and remove a back part of the central console, address to the subsection Removal and installation of the central console.
4. Press three times the lever of the parking brake (the effort makes about 30 kg), then again release. It is necessary for installation of elements of a brake.
5. Mark paint the provision of back wheels concerning naves. It will allow to establish at assembly otbalansirovanny wheels in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove back wheels.
	6. At the released lever of the parking brake tighten an adjusting nut on the lever so that levers (an arrow on an illustration) on supports departed from an emphasis. If necessary check the shchupy – 1–. The distance from the lever to a support (shooter) on both parties should not exceed 1.5 mm.
7. Check, that at the released lever both of a nave of back wheels freely rotated.
8. Establish into place back wheels so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing greasing aligning belt of a disk of a wheel on a nave. Wrap bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts a cross – crosswise the moment of 120 N • m.
9. Insert an ashtray into the central console.
