Removal and installation of the bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave

GENERAL INFORMATION

Cars with a forward drive

Signs of the damaged bearings is the following: noise on abrupt turns; a heavy course of a wheel at the released brake. Bearings of wheels can be established only with use of the special adaptation. The bearing collapses as a result of removal therefore it is necessary to replace it.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a support and a brake disk of a back wheel, address to подазделу Removal and installation of a brake disk/support.
2. Unscrew a dvenadtsatigranny nut of fastening of a wheel to a nave. ATTENTION Establish the lever of a face key horizontally to the left that at a nut otvorachivaniye the car did not slide off sideways supports. Danger of accident!
	3. Remove the nave bearing/knot from a pin a stripper (And).
	4. Remove the remained holder of the bearing from a nave a usual stripper with a collar (And).
ATTENTION Thus do not damage the ABS sensor.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave are replaced only in a set. The special AUDI-3429 adaptation is applied to installation. As a result of an adaptation navorachivaniye on a pin the bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave напрессовывается. Again remove the adaptation.
2. Screw a new dvenadtsatigranny nut and thus pull a nave against the stop. A nut tighten the moment of 175 N • m. ATTENTION Establish the lever of a face key horizontally to the right that at inhaling of a nut to exclude соскаль
3. Establish a support and a brake disk, address to подазделу Removal and installation of a brake disk/support.
