Removal and installation of system of release

GENERAL INFORMATION

System of production of the fulfilled gases. The engine without a turbokompressor.

On the engine of 1.8 l with a turbo-supercharging there are differences for a flange of a reception pipe of the exhaust silencer.

REMOVAL

ATTENTION

Elements of system of release can be removed separately. The central and additional exhaust silencers can be separated from each other. They exist as separate spare parts, address to subsection Replacement of the central/additional exhaust silencer.
When lifting and car installation on supports there is a danger! Therefore previously familiarize with car Poddomkrachivaniye's subsection.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift and establish the car on supports.
2. Spray all bolts and nuts of system of release by means for rust dissolution. Wait some time.
	3. Unscrew near the catalytic converter a cover of shtekerny connection of the sensor of oxygen (the shooter below on an illustration). Disconnect an electric wire with clips (the top arrow) at the heat-shielding screen. Take out from a cover the socket and расстыкуйте it.
	4. Unscrew the bottom bolts of fastening of a reception pipe at a final collector or a turbokompressor.
5. Bring under system of release of a support or suspend it on a wire to the car bottom that it did not fall. ATTENTION At all do not allow falling of system of release as the ceramics of the catalytic converter can be thus damaged. It will result in need of replacement of the catalytic converter.
6. Unscrew from both parties bolts of fastening of a forward cross-piece of system of release to the bottom.
7. Take out by means of the assistant release system from fastenings.
INSTALLATION ATTENTION Consolidations, nuts and bolts surely replace with the new. For simplification of the subsequent dismantling it is recommended nuts and bolts of system of release before installation into place to cover with high-temperature paste, for example, Liqui Moly LM–508–ASC.
8. If exhaust silencers are not replaced, sealing and contact surfaces before assembly are necessary for smoothing out an emery paper from a rust and the hermetic remains. ATTENTION At a turbokompressor a flexible (razjedinitelny) element in a reception pipe do not unbend on a corner more than 10 °, differently it can be damaged.
	9. Fix bolts holders of system of release at a forward cross-piece so that the unbent party of the holder (the shooter) looked at illustrations in the movement direction.
10. Establish release system by means of the assistant and suspend it behind in rubber holders.
11. Fix a forward cross-piece bolts the moment of 25 N of m to the car bottom.
	12. Engines without a turbokompressor: Fix bolts a reception pipe with new sealing laying on a final collector and tighten in the sequence shown on an illustration cross-wise by the moment of 40 N of m.
13. Engines with a turbokompressor: Fix a reception pipe with new sealing laying on a turbokompressor cross-wise the moment of 40 N of m – petrol and 25 N of m – diesel engines.
14. Expose release system so that it lay in suspension brackets without a tightness.
15. Tighten bolts and nuts of fastening by the efforts specified in Specifications.
16. Establish the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, thus address to the subsection Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.
17. Lay a cable of the sensor of oxygen in clips and connect. Screw a cover of shtekerny connection on the bottom.
18. Lower the car on wheels.
19. Check release system on tightness, thus address to the corresponding subsection Check of a condition of system of production of the fulfilled gases.
