ATTENTION

As collars of a protective cover apply only the original. Open collars with application of nippers for разрезки.

Adjustment of a convergence is made by rotation of steering drafts surely on both parties of the car. Tips of steering drafts should not have люфтов. Dustproof caps should not have damages, otherwise they should be urgently replaced. Tips of steering drafts on the right and at the left have a various bend. Turn on this attention when using spare parts.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Mark paint the provision of the corresponding forward wheel concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly an otbalansirovanny wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove a forward wheel.
	2. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a tip of steering draft and curtail it till the end of a carving. It serves as a support for a stripper.-1-tip of the sensor of number of turns of ABS.
3. Wring out a pin of a tip of steering draft from the pendular lever a usual stripper (And), for example, Hazet 779.
4. Unscrew a lock-nut–2–tips of steering draft, address to an illustration *Steering drafts and tips of drafts*.
5. Unscrew a tip of steering draft, having counted thus number of turns which are necessary for the subsequent assembly.
6. Cut collars on a protective cover. Thus do not damage a cover.
	7. Remove a protective cover as it is possible further outside and unscrew steering draft. HUNDRED are applied by the special V.A.G-1332 tool for this purpose shown on an illustration complete with 1332/5. Also suitable wrench can be applied.
ATTENTION Hold a gear lath from a provorachivaniye a wrench of 21 mm for лыски.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Replace steering draft or a tip.
2. Screw a tip of steering draft on number of the turns, written down at removal and fix by hand a lock-nut.
3. Fix steering draft the moment of 75 N • m to the steering mechanism, holding from a provorachivaniye a wrench.
	4. Establish a protective cover into position. It should not be overwound by no means, as is shown in an illustration and should not have damages.
	5. Fix a protective cover new collars. Clamp collars nippers of V.A.G 1275 or other corresponding tool, for example, HAZET 1847–1.
6. Insert steering draft into the pendular lever on the case of the bearing of a wheel and tighten a new being self-stopped nut the moment of 45 N • m.
7. Fix a lock-nut of a tip of steering draft the moment of 50 N • m.
8. Establish into place a forward wheel so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing greasing aligning belt of a disk of a wheel on a nave. Bolts of fastening of a wheel do not grease. Rusty bolts replace. Wrap bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 120 N • m.
9. Check a convergence of wheels.
