GENERAL INFORMATION

Power steering pump

1–maple belt
2–bolt, 10 N • m + 90 ° (1/4 turns)
3–damper of fluctuations. On a cranked shaft
4–bolt, 25 N • m
5–clip
6–generator
7–holder. The holder of cars without the conditioner is shown.
8–bolt, 45 N • m
9–bolt, 25 N • m
10-hollow bolt, 30 N • m
11-sealing ring. It is necessary to replace surely.

Oil specification: AUDI–G 002 000; oil volume from 0.7 to 0.9 l.

REMOVAL

Depending on car model the pump can settle down over the generator or under the generator.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove maple a belt, address to the subsection Removal and installation of a ridge maple belt.
2. At a pump arrangement over the generator: Disconnect soaking-up branch pipe from a final collector, having opened for this purpose collars.
	3. Remove from the pump a pulley, holding thus a face key of 9 mm for the central bolt from a provorachivaniye.
4. Disconnect a hydraulic hose from the tank the corresponding clip, for example, HAZET 4590/2
5. Disconnect a hose from the tank on the pump for what open a collar. ATTENTION Wipe following oil a rag. Do not allow dirt hit in an oil contour. For protection close accessions by polyethylene and rubber rings.
6. Unscrew a hollow bolt for a pressure head hose on the pump.
	7. Unscrew bolts of fastening–1–and–2–pumps to the holder. On an illustration the pump located over the generator is shown
INSTALLATION
8. Before installation fill the pump with fresh oil. For this purpose pour in AUDI-G 002 000 oil in soaking-up branch pipe of the pump and turn a nave by hand so that oil acted.
9. Clear adjacent surfaces and a pump carving.
10. Insert the pump and fix it the moment of 25 N • m.
	11. Put on a hose of the tank of oil the pump. Longitudinal marking (And) should coincide with a seam (an arrow on an illustration) the pump. Fix a collar. It should lie before cross-section marking (In).
12. Remove a clip from a pump hose.
13. Fix on the pump a hollow bolt of a pressure head hose with two consolidations.
14. Fix a pulley the moment of 25 N • m.
15. The pump with the top arrangement: Put on soaking-up branch pipe the inlet pipeline and fix a collar.
16. Put on maple a belt, address to the subsection Removal and installation of a ridge maple belt.
