Replacement of the fuel filter of the diesel engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

Fuel filter

1 collar
2 fuel hose from a fuel tank
3 sealing ring
4 adjusting valve with fuel hoses

5 clip
6 fuel hose to the fuel pump of a high pressure
7 fuel filter

It will be necessary for carrying out work for you:

– Fuel filter of the diesel engine.
– Sealing rings of the adjusting valve.

The corresponding capacity is necessary for collecting inclusions of water.

ATTENTION

Following diesel fuel should be immediately removed with rags, especially from rubber details (hoses of cooling liquid) which will be otherwise damaged.

At all do not throw out the fulfilled oil and do not pour out it together with a household waste. Local authorities should inform on the location of points of reception of the fulfilled oil.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear from outer side fuel hoses–2–and–6–. Cut бокорезами collars and remove hoses from the filter.
2. Remove sideways a clip – 5–.
3. Remove up the adjusting valve-4-with the fuel hoses attached to it.
4. Weaken the screw of fastening of a collar–1–on the holder and take out the filter–7–of the holder.
5. Fill the new filter with pure diesel fuel. Thus, the engine will quicker be started.
6. Insert the filter in the holder and tighten a collar the screw – 1–.
7. Replace a sealing ring–3–, having moistened it with slightly diesel fuel before installation.
8. Insert the adjusting valve and fix a clip – 5–.
9. Put on fuel hoses–2–and–6–and fix them collars.
ATTENTION Thus do not mix an entrance and an exit. The arrow on the fuel filter shows in the direction of an input of fuel in the filter.
10. Start the engine. Air leaves fuel system independently after engine start. After repeated pressing a gas pedal fuel should pass through a transparent hose to the fuel pump of a high pressure without air vials.
11. Visually check fuel system on tightness, in particular, in places of connection of the fuel filter.
