EDS works together with ABS. EDS operates in an automatic mode – i.e. without participation of the driver.

Usually ASR should be always included. Only in certain, exceptional cases, in need of a proskalzyvaniye, it should be disconnected, namely:

– at movement with antisliding chains
– at movement on deep snow or friable soil

Usually ESP should be always included. Only in certain exceptional cases, in need of a proskalzyvaniye, it is necessary to disconnect it, namely:

– at movement on deep snow or friable soil
– in attempt to leave in a swing after jamming.

After that again include ESP.

At disconnected ESP, remain in an operating mode of ABS and EDS.

Action principle

The electronic program of stabilization of course stability includes ABS, EDS and ASR. Along with received at operation of these devices as data, the monitor of ESP needs the additional parameters received by means of high-sensitivity sensors. Speed of rotation of the car round its vertical axis, cross-section acceleration, pressure is measured in system of a brake drive and an angle of rotation of operated wheels.

Full drive (quattro) *

The full drive of your car works in an automatic mode.
